| VOLUNTEER RECRUITMENT DRIVE GUIDES NEEDED FOR CITY HALL OPEN HOUSE EVENT |

The National Art Gallery, Singapore will be holding an open house of the City Hall and former Supreme Court buildings from 9 to 10 October 2010. This special weekend event will feature a string of events and activities, that will allow Singaporeans and visitors the opportunity to see, tour and experience the existing buildings as they are, before they are transformed into the new National Art Gallery. We are looking for approximately 100 volunteers, to lead and guide tours through the historic buildings of City Hall and former Supreme Court. Volunteers will need to be at least 18 years old, attend all the training sessions, and commit to guiding at least ONE full tour session during the event. An interest in history, art and/or architecture will be an advantage. Volunteers will be required to conduct at least ONE tour, in either English, Mandarin, Malay or Tamil. Volunteers who can guide tours in other languages are also welcome. Second Training Session
We provide: training, notes, food, volunteer t-shirts, and a certificate of participation.
